Open Day 2026
Step into your future
On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, the Cremona Campus welcomed prospective students to its very first Open Day at the brand-new Campus. Nestled in a modern, green, and innovative setting, the Campus is designed to offer a unique academic and student-life experience, combining comfort, functionality, and sustainable technologies.
Throughout the day, participants experienced a dynamic and stimulating atmosphere, reflecting the excellence of Italy’s leading School of Engineering, where excellence comes alive every day through the passion of students, researchers, and innovators shaping the future.
The event was an excellent opportunity to explore our Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs, gain insight into the skills developed throughout each course of study, and learn about career prospects through presentations by faculty members and testimonials from current students and alumni.
The Open Day was held in person, with the option to attend online.
From 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, the morning was dedicated to high school students, with a focus on the Bachelor’s programs in Process Engineering, a new degree starting September 2026, Management and Production Engineering, and Engineering of Computing Systems.
Starting at 2:00 PM, the focus shifted to current students and graduates, featuring presentations of the Master’s Degree programs in:
- Agricultural Engineering, among the first of its kind in Italy, preparing engineers for the agro-industrial sector through a systemic approach.
- Music and Acoustic Engineering, divided into two tracks: the Acoustic track, focused on musical acoustics, and the Music track, centered on music informatics and sound processing.
The day was further enriched by contributions from student associations at the Cremona Campus and the Unit Sports program, showcasing not only the academic offering but also the broader university experience, including sports, cultural initiatives, and extracurricular activities. Musical performances by Polifonia Cremona, the Cremona branch of the student association Polifonia, added energy and vibrancy to the event.
Participants also had the opportunity to join guided tours of the Campus, the Ada Byron student residence, and several laboratories, including the Industry 4.0 Lab, the Fab-e Lab at the Bioenergy Factory, the ROSETEA Lab – Robotics Sensor Technologies for Environment and Agriculture, and the Sound and Music Computing Lab.
